Most domains for sale are worth nothing. Plus, unless a domain is recognizable, non-trademarked, one-word, easy to spell and easy to remember, it seems better to save the money and spend it on marketing. Besides, most people click on links (rather than type-in a URL). Unless, you are doing TV or Radio branding, it is often better to just find an appropriate domain no one is using.

Finding a relevant domain is not as difficult as it may first appear when doing a search using a registrar. Whatever name that comes to mind, try adding an s. Or, add global, corp, power, inc, or a number of other adjectives. Also, the more words in the domain name, the better. If the name you want is taken, try switching the words around. Or, try adding a dash between the two words. Or, put a 1 in there. For example, adding a 1 to real estate gives you 1realestate.
